I’ve been creating, consuming and sharing content online since I launched my first zine on AOL back in 2000. And though my folks argue otherwise, I very much believe that the Internet is a real place of employment, and this is where I work and play.
I'm currently fielding my entrepreneurial curiosity with an e-commerce venture. Through the holidays (and in snippets of free time!), I'm learning the ropes of starting a dot com shop from the ground up, doing things the hard way.
I used to wave my word-wizarding wand at Scoutmob.com, an e-commerce website that carries independently crafted wares. In addition to holding the keys to the voice style guide, I was also the Intern Wrangler, Newsletter Editor, and Social Media Mover and Shaker.
Prior to that, I worked in adland as the Cultural Cheerleader, Content Editor, and Party Planning Committee Leader for an Atlanta-based agency.
Little known fact: I am the queen of frozen desserts. At home there are regularly half a dozen pints of ice cream in rotation, and when traveling, I insist on tracking down a tasty cone or cup of gelato, sorbet, or freshly churned ice cream.
I love working on unusual projects and collaborating within a team—I think we can do great things together. Let's chat!
